I think that the base of Madden is fundamentally broken

Yeah. Despite the fully unjustifiable bonuses EA does seem to actually care about their employees unlike Activision-Blizzard who barely pay their workers. It's either 8 or 10 months to create it. I understand that they function like nonstop to make it Mut 21 coins then take time off then get right back to it. I agree, in my mind they receive zero credit for placing back things they took themselves out. The franchise mode is worse than it was two generations ago and they act like putting back attributes they used to have is a fantastic sacrifice on their part to appease a fan base that will never be happy. I played Madden 10 for 6 years. I didn't maintain what was going on. Eventually I got 19 since it came out for PC and that I fucking wut confronted at its franchise mode. Lmao these are things I would expect to get added at the moment, you are telling me I would have to wait until November for them? I guess it coincides with their planned release for the next gen madden; but pitiful to do that to current gen buyers.

It takes them 5 months to have put an update that adds player background to their stats display. Let us just say for a minute that the real devs at EA are not poor, but the higher ups and executives are. It makes you believe. That's what disturbs me. If it takes them FIVE weeks to add the tiniest of attributes, absolutely no chance Madden 22 is gonna have anything large of an update to franchise . It is gont require them 5 years to have an actual huge change to franchise. Eh, they constructed Yard in annually. And they also have fleshed out Face of the Franchise or whatever the shit is called over like 3 years. I believe they can at re-build franchise then add on in enormous doses during the subsequent 3 decades.

I think that the base of Madden is fundamentally broken. They have had to start from scratch the previous 2 console production lumps (PS2/XB-PS3/360-PS4/X1) since the hardware architecture shifted dramatically each time and they simply have not managed to catch up because the yearly release cycle means they obviously do not have the opportunity to exercise the inherent issues. Also I am not holding out any hope for another gen. PS5/Series X are literally just stronger versions of the PS4 Pro and 1X, they have got the exact same CPU architecture so it'll be the exact same busted game but with perhaps a few better visuals. , especially when it comes to physics. Long story short, my comprehension is Frostbite is great for FPS (which is exactly what it was designed for) but has been only terrible for sports or really anything besides FPS.

On the one hand, I get it, it does help streamline development and will save costs in the long run. I wonder whether the issue is truly the engine, or the legacy code that has been ported across multiple engines. A sports game built on Frostbite in the cheap Madden 21 coins beginning would need to be better. Here is a post that talks about general issues with Frostbite from assorted EA studios that are not doing FPS, seems like a lot (obviously) got lost in translation from lookup engine to Frostbite for the sports matches utilizing it; and while visuals improved, physics got much worse.
