As far as getting stuff to nba 2k21 mt HoF, and also just number constraints as a whole based on stats. Yeah when I did mycareer I wished to play an oversized and quick cutting edge SF and the game moved me to PF forever and sometimes center. I was only like 6ft9! I get it but I don't even want to play online. My speed was so capped also. I invested too long getting someone at each place to 85 overall (I stopped playing for a good chunk of tim, too), never even got to All-star match for most of them. I had the weirdest situation because my game was 2k17 so we added me, a cutting man who basically just dunked, and Justice, the guy who is constantly on your group and shot lights out from 3, into the... Kings. After Cousins left. Sports games are fucking wild.

This occurred to me 6 years back with 2K14 and it's still dogshit. But it doesn't matter because sports games become bought regardless of quality. Yeah that tends to occur when one publisher owns all of the rights to a franchise, even should they create puppy shit with it there's nearly 0 competition. To be honest, 2k does not have exclusive NBA rights, EA has them also, it's just that EA is 1000x worse at creating a basketball sim than 2k. Late 90's N64 Hockey games were a little more plentiful.I only wish they put more love into it other than updated rosters. Nhl15 was the last better sims imo. That be an expert mode is fantastic. They did not though.

Last NHL 2ks were light years ahead of EA in terms of simulating actual hockey. However that which was missing were a Career mode and an Ultimate Team mode. Latter being crucial since that's how these matches make most of their revenue these days, from people that spend thousands to make their card group just so they can do exactly the same when the next year's game.

Add to that the graphics were not on par concerning animations and models and the how to buy mt on nba 2k21 game had a clunkier feel. I looked up what the game appears today and the core gameplay is still nearly identical to NHL 07. That's 14 fucking years of publishing the exact same game with some updated features and added animations. The goalies were shit in 2006 and they are still shit now.
