Let's go through the updates and news recently. RS Mobile, quite exciting, will attract more players in hopefully. RuneFest Theme, so not a RS gold game update, a convention. RunePass - Oceans Bounty, decorative items available. Temple of Aminishi Elite Dungeon - that is fantastic for elite players I guess. Mysteria, oh more treasure hunter. Hall Of Memories, levelling divination in a new place, okay for some. Supernova - Treasure hunter bs again. It's carnival time, go and invest in solomons store men.
So of that we've got 7 of 12 updates being treasure hunter cash grabs. 1 upgrade being a significant addition, with Runescape Mobile. 1 thing concerning a convention the majority of the player base wont be going to. 3 match updates and whilst some are intriguing, they add very little to the game and don't inspire players to wish to get involved. I hate to mention it, but Jagex don't give people many reasons to care about the game. Where is the brand new content that individuals are able to enjoy, where is the pleasure and relatable stuff? Where is it all, what the hell is Jagex functioning on that offers the players a much more enjoyable and exciting experience. No I don't wish to buy additional cosmetics, no I do not wish to check over your micro trade crap. Give me appropriate gameplay, entertaining enjoyable content and prevent cash catching every single penny.
It is interesting to hear that they would like to make another RuneScape, so I guess they have not completely given up afterward. The way I saw it, RuneScape two was great for me personally, because it was something that you could play any PC, you could easily multi-task, also it had a simple yet complex scope to it. The entire no-trade and no-PVP focus as of 2007, furthered from the changes to the real mechanisms in Evolution of Combat, only transformed RuneScape into something that never appeals to me personally. It's a watered down MMORPG that is trying to be something it cannot be.
Truth is, if the match was like it had been prior to the Grand Exchange and that, I would have played RuneScape off and on while watching TV shows and things like that. As it was, they murdered what I liked in favour of enhancing the match, and it wasn't for me anymore. The truth is, if I moved back to OSRS, I'd probably enjoy it cheap OSRS gold. My issue is I would have to begin all over again, and also for a participant with a personality that was mainly active throughout the OSRS days, it's frustrating that I could not transfer my account in to OSRS (as far as I know).
